Clever Cloud is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and we're planning to pull out all the stops. Two crazy days of inspiring keynotes, workshops for sharing, testing, brainstorming, and round-table discussions with industry heavyweights.

Two days in which to discover the major new products, partners, roadmap and upcoming projects! It'll also be an opportunity to exchange ideas with peers, discover new partners and gain perspective on current issues. And of course, we're planning a wonderful evening to celebrate our 15th anniversary together!

We set up a very simple contest: deploy an app on Clever Cloud and win a ticket for DevFest Nantes 2017. That's it? Yeah, that's it.

And we made it very simple. Really simple? Yeah. Really.

We created https://www.clever.cloud/devfestnantes2017 to explain you how to play.

We also wrote a step by step guide on the readme file of the app to deploy. From app fork to final deployment:

• Fork this app on your GitHub account.
• Edit the index.js file with your personnal information.
• Signup with GitHub on Clever Cloud (if not already a user) or link your GitHub account (if not already done).
• Deploy the app

You're done!

It should take under 2 minutes.

Ok 5 minutes if reading carefully the readme and every item of the console.

A Few Rules

Deploy between September 1st and october 1st.

No matter how many times you deploy. You will have the same chances.

Don't forget to uncomment and precise your name, firstname and email address in the index.js file before deployment. If not, well your participation won't be taken into account.

If you want to preserve your 20 € of trial credits, you can delete your app once it has been deployed. You will still participate in the draw on october 2nd.

The contest is not only for current clients but is open to anyone.

Inviting your grandma to deploy doesn't get you bonus points. To our eyes, a lot ; but not for this game.

The dotConferences are always crazy. The first one of 2013 is the dotScale one. This cloud conference dedicated to developers takes place the 7th and 8th June 2013. The attracting mix is still the same : the best tech speakers in an amazing environment, the Paris “théâtre des variétés”. There are some new speakers and we are very proud to see our CEO Quentin Adam being part of them.

This event’s goal is to offer an affordable and unique conference to the developpers. It's also the occasion to understand the technical choices of the platforms they use for their own apps. Thereafter optimise them in order to make them more scalable by taking full advantage of the underlying platform.

Les dotConferences sont toujours incroyables. Cette année, la première est la dotScale, la conférence cloud dédiée aux développeurs qui aura lieu les 7 et 8 juin 2013. La recette ne diffère pas énormément: le meilleur de la technique dans un décor incroyable, à savoir le théâtre des variété de Paris. Pour cette édition dédiée au cloud, nous sommes très fier d'y voir Quentin Adam (CEO de Clever Cloud).

Pas de discours marketing, pas de couverture de buzz

Ce qui rend la dotScale si spéciale (et si intéressante à nos yeux) c'est son concept lui même: proposer une conférence qui donne la parole aux hard développeurs, en clair à ceux qui mettent les mains dans le cambouis pour proposer des solutions cloud innovantes.

La conférence technique pour maximiser vos apps

L'objectif de cet évènement est de présenter une conférence pour les développeurs, abordable et unique. C'est aussi l'occasion de comprendre les choix techniques des plateformes qu'ils utilisent pour leur propres applications et donc de les optimiser, de les rendre plus scalables.
