The Weekly Platform Update is a series of posts about every impactful changes on Clever Cloud. You’ll find the updated parts of Clever Cloud below, to follow fixes, updates, new products and more on a weekly basis.

Core

  • All runtimes:
    • Updated to Linux 4.9
    • Better management of post-deploy hook
  • Go: Updated to 1.7.3
  • Python:
    • Support of setup.py, and node runtime is now LTS
    • Librdkafka installed
  • Log collector: got a hardware upgrade for better performances
  • Rust: 1.14 + cargo 0.15
  • NodeJs:
    • Node 7.4.0, 6.9.3 (LTS), 4.7.1 (LTS) and 0.12.28
    • Yarn 0.18.1
  • Deployment process: Trying to deploy without credits now generates a deployment failed event

Products

  • Console: Various bug fixes and improvements
  • PostgreSQL: Updated to 9.6.1 for dedicated instances
  • MongoDB:
    • Updated to 3.4.1 for dedicated instances
    • SSL on the shared MongoDB and on newly created dedicated instances
    • Shared MongoDB are about to be updated to v3.4 for the end of Q1 2017
