Trusted Cloud: Clever Cloud thanks the government

Nantes, April 6, 2023 – Clever Cloud is pleased to announce that as part of the implementation of the France 2030 plan, ministers Bruno Le Maire and Jean-Noël Barrot have selected its application to benefit from the SecNumCloud qualification support scheme operated by Bpifrance in close collaboration with the Agence nationale de sécurité des systèmes d’information (ANSSI) and the Direction Générale des Entreprises (DGE). Obtaining the SecNumCloud qualification will enable Clever Cloud to offer the “trusted cloud” necessary to protect the sensitive data of public authorities and companies that wish to benefit from the best technical and legal guarantees.

The implementation of this support system was desired by many players. It confirms the government’s desire to help the French cloud industry meet its legitimate regulatory requirements, while continuing to invest primarily in the development and ongoing improvement of technological and commercial solutions expected by users.

As an expert in hosting and maintaining applications and databases in operational conditions, Clever Cloud is delighted that the government is actively supporting the French cloud sector in this way, with 21 perfectly complementary projects that testify to the vitality of the French software industry.

Clever Cloud is also one of the partners of the CollabNext consortium selected in the framework of the call for projects “Cloud collaborative office suites”, which will make available a complete, sovereign, innovative, secure and interoperable collaborative platform. Clever Cloud’s deployment and orchestration technologies will enable dynamic scaling, without service interruption, with strong optimisation of the resources used by the platform.

These are very positive signals sent by the government to the entire French cloud industry, and I would particularly like to thank the ministers Bruno Le Maire and Jean-Noël Barrot for this essential aid, which shows that the government believes in the capacity of the French industry to propose offers that meet market requirements. We will be able to respond to this expectation and to the confidence that has been shown in us“, declared Quentin ADAM, President of Clever Cloud.
