Clever Cloud, Europe's leading provider of cloud solutions, and Octopize, a key player in the anonymisation of strategic data, have announced their partnership to meet the growing challenges of data sovereignty and a secure environment.

This partnership aims to offer businesses and institutions a trusted infrastructure for processing and augmenting data and making it available in cloud applications, while guaranteeing its confidentiality and integrity. By combining Clever Cloud’s expertise in autonomous and secure clouds with Octopize‘s avatar anonymisation technology, this partnership paves the way for advanced uses of data, particularly in sensitive areas such as healthcare and industry.

Towards a revolution in data use thanks to the avatar anonymisation solution

Thanks to its unique ability to generate anonymous synthetic data without compromising its statistical value, avatar software makes it possible to reconcile confidentiality, compliance and innovation. The aim is clear: to simplify and accelerate the re-use of sensitive data in complete confidence.

This partnership comes at a key time for Octopize, which is preparing to unveil a new, refactored version of its avatar software. This redesign will include a new web client optimised for user experience (UX), making the anonymisation of avatar data even more fluid and accessible.

Avatar to complete the Clever AI offering

Last February, Clever Cloud announced the launch of an alpha version of Clever AI, a set of solutions designed to facilitate the adoption of AI in businesses, while taking account of their security and traceability constraints. Clever AI currently enables companies to aggregate several LLMs, configure rules to prevent data leakage in prompts, track usage by team, etc. As part of this partnership, Octopize and Clever Cloud are currently working on integrating the new version of Octopize’s software into the Clever AI ecosystem. The aim is to offer a service that will enable anonymised data to be leveraged and exploited in full compliance with regulations, while benefiting from the power of a high-performance European cloud. This is a major step forward in the AI world, creating a new way of designing datasets and creating an alternative AI ecosystem that is compatible with European sovereignty and values. This first deployment is part of a wider drive to collaborate and increase the power of sovereign data infrastructures, a strategic challenge for companies wishing to exploit their data assets while complying with the strict regulations in force, thanks in particular to Clever Cloud’s ISO 27001 and Health Data Hosting (HDS) certifications, as well as the possibility of hosting the most sensitive data in a SecNumCloud zone.

Sōzu 2.0 — turning a reverse proxy into a programmable edge

Sōzu is the reverse proxy that sits in front of every application running on Clever Cloud. After eighteen months of work — first the HTTP/2 multiplexer, built on our existing kawa pivot, then almost every other layer of the proxy, and finally a long run in production on the cleverapps.io load balancers — Sōzu 2.0 is out.

K3s vs K8s: What Are the Differences and Which One Should You Choose in 2026?

Kubernetes has become the standard for container orchestration. But depending on your infrastructure constraints (limited resources, edge computing, IoT, or large-scale enterprise clusters), the distribution you choose can radically change the operational experience. K3s and K8s (upstream Kubernetes) address different needs, even though both share the same CNCF-certified foundation.
